The Elias Nickman Jr. Foundation is a non-profit 501(c)(3) established to honor our son, brother, father, cousin, and friend who died tragically on October 5th, 2020. A man of quiet dignity with a tireless work ethic, Eddie lived an uncomplicated life focused on his love for family and friends.
The Elias Nickman Jr. Foundation celebrates Eddie’s life through meaningful acts of kindness and generosity carried out for young and old in our community. The Foundation is an ongoing expression of our love for Eddie and its efforts allow him to live on in our hearts and minds.
Eddie was the definition of family, community and integrity. This foundation was created to not only highlight those qualities, but continue his legacy in serving others.
There is no denying the passion and dedication that Eddie had for his community. Because of that, the Elias Nickman Jr. Foundation will continue to provide support and assistance to those in need. By working with charitable organizations, school districts and individual families in need, we are able to lend a helping hand when and where we can, with the same genuine compassion that Eddie demonstrated.
As a truly hardworking and dedicated individual, Eddie believed in the power of knowledge and education. As a result, the Elias Nickman Jr. Foundation created a scholarship program awarding local students that demonstrate an unmatched work ethic, passion for serving others, and dedication for furthering their education.
Through all of Eddie’s characteristics and qualities, the one that perhaps shined the brightest was his willingness to help and support others, no matter who or what you needed. He believed in the power of family and friends, and would be the first to be there to help or support anyone he could. It is in this footsteps that we intend to follow and continue that legacy in helping and supporting others.
